This brief tasked us with creating promotional materials for a subject of our own choice.
I decided to develop my understanding of book cover design by creating this series of printed dust jackets, based on the series 'Chronicles of Ancient Darkness' by author Michelle Paver. Here I used a layering technique to create portal like illustrations to invite readers in and create a recognisable in-house style.
The designs have received high praise and were featured in Author Michelle Paver's online podcast & Youtube series Michelle LIVE.
